Hong Kong – Market & Shop

As I walked the street of Hong Kong during my first trip there (and hopefully not the last), I was amazed by the display of some shops, and the different veggies and fruits one can find in the market. So I took some photos (as if I was not going to!)

On a few different places, I saw cats lazing around on dry seafood. Not sure if they are fed enough and as a result do not steal the goods. But the owners didn’t seem to care much.

What is certain is that there is an amazing variety of things you wouldn’t find in our supermarket! Not sure I would try all of it though!

Hong Kong – Victoria Peak

One of the first things I have done in Hong Kong is having a look at Victoria Peak. One of the must do tourist things. Taking the funicular, one of the steeper in the world, we raise from the city. The arrival is… Quite unexpected, as we disembark in a shopping center!

But as we step out, we soon found ourselves almost alone. The track that goes around the peak is less traveled, and the view is quite nice, the luxuriant forest with the sky crappers in the background…

Sunrise at Middle Head

The series of sunrise around Sydney continues.

I had other plans this morning, but once I jumped in the car, I realized it was much later than I wanted, and so I had to quickly change my plans to find a much closer to home spot. Middle Head came to mind. And I do not regret it!

30 minutes after I finished, the weather changed for the worst and for about an hour we had torrential rain. Now the weather is nice and sunny again. Go figure…

Sunrise in Kurnell

This time I traveled south for my morning photography. Near Kurnell. Beautiful cliff, I had a quick look at where I wanted to go on Google Map, and then found my spot on the day.

Not too much surf, the tide was not too high, perfect. I found a way to go down at the bottom of the cliff. A rock fisherman came down and feature on my pictures…

Sunrise at Mona Vale

It is this period of the year where sunrises are not too early.

So I am trying to get up and go. And I have a list of places I want to hit.

This morning, it was Mona Vale Ocean Pool. Some clouds, but just the right amount, and a tide just perfect.
