Tanya & Hamish’s Wedding

Today is Tanya, Detti’s aunt, wedding. She is to marry Hamish, who is from Scottish origin, and gave a little traditional twang to the whole show.

I was asked to take the pictures, and Damon and I went along and clicked happily away.

Here is a little selection, which I must say has been inspired by the idea of showing Detti’s family (to a degree) to my friends and family far away.

Aujourd’hui c’est le mariage de Tanya, la tante de Detti. Elle épouse Hamish, qui a des origines Scott, et qui du coup donne un petit air traditionnel a la cérémonie.
Tanya m’avait demandé de prendre leurs photos. Du coup, avec Damon, on s’en va cliquer à-tout-va.
Ceci est une petite sélection, et le choix a souvent été fait avec l’idée de présenter la famille de Detti à mes amis et ma famille bien loin d’ici.

Wedding Musicians

On this day, Vicky and Sean got married (see next post), the Morrisons sister (from left to right: Belle, Klara and Detti), were playing during the ceremony, while Damon and I were taking pictures. This is a side gallery of the musicians, and a little bird that was very cute.

Aujourd’hui, c’est le mariage de Sean et Vicky (lire le post suivant).  Les sœurs Morrison (de gauche à droite : Belle, Klara et Detti), jouaient pendant la cérémonie, alors que Damon et moi prenions des photos. Ceci est une galerie à part des musiciennes, et d’un petit oiseau qui était fort mignon.
