On a nice sunny day, Detti and I headed off to Helensburgh, a bit south of Sydney, where there is some old train tunnels, quite beautiful.
The main one is well known for having glow worms inside.
But today, this was not the aim of our outing.

On this day, Vicky and Sean got married (see next post), the Morrisons sister (from left to right: Belle, Klara and Detti), were playing during the ceremony, while Damon and I were taking pictures. This is a side gallery of the musicians, and a little bird that was very cute.

Aujourd’hui, c’est le mariage de Sean et Vicky (lire le post suivant). Les sœurs Morrison (de gauche à droite : Belle, Klara et Detti), jouaient pendant la cérémonie, alors que Damon et moi prenions des photos. Ceci est une galerie à part des musiciennes, et d’un petit oiseau qui était fort mignon.

This evening, Detti and I go on a bit of a mission, to take some shots and record her playing in a bunker. After a nice walk to get there, we set up. It is quite narrow and she can only manage to bow once seated across a little alcove. The sound is amazing! It travels the all length of the bunker, and becomes all powerful.
It is a very nice experience, but that night I was so tired that I forgot to be creative:( Oh well, there is always the next time!

Ce soir, Detti et moi sortons pour une petite mission : prendre des photos et une vidéo d’elle jouant dans un bunker. Après une petite marche d’approche, on s’installe. Le couloir est très étroit, et elle ne peut utiliser son archer qu’une fois assise en face d’une petite alcôve. Le son est extraordinaire, il voyage tout le long du bunker, et en devient très puissant.
C’est une expérience bien sympa, sauf que ce soir là j’étais très fatigué et j’en ai oublié d’être créatif 🙁 On verra ça la prochaine fois!

We were meant to travel south, but the weather being quite disgusting, we decided to do something different. I asked Dettiif she would be happy to play some cello in a place I had in mind, in order for me to take some shots. I was hoping it would be nice. And… Well… I am quite happy with the results!
We will do it again when it is not raining, so has to have a different liberty, as Cello and rain don’t mix well together!
But this is definitely the start of a series about “Detti, a Cello and…”

On devait aller de nouveau vers le sud (Detti veut toujours me montrer de nombreux endroits différents près de Jervis Bay), mais la météo était bien mauvaise, alors on a décidé de faire quelque chose d’un peu différent. J’ai demandé à Detti si elle serait partante pour jouer de son violoncelle dans un lieu que j’avais en tête, pour que je puisse prendre des photos. J’espérais que ce serais sympa. Et bien… Je suis plutôt content du résultat!
On y retournera quand il ne pleuvra pas, pour avoir un peu plus de liberté, parce que violoncelle et eau ne font pas bon ménage!
Mais ceci est définitivement le début d’une série sur “Detti, a Cello and…”
